Our Values

Most Domanada Foundation grants grow out of an established relational context.

1. Christ-centered

While our heritage is evangelical, we desire to focus on our unity in Christ, not on our cultural, denominational, methodological or vocational differences. We seek to base our lives and actions on prayer, the inspired word of God and the leading of his Holy Spirit.

2. Personal Wholeness

We seek to intentionally live out God’s call in every area of our lives — to be “salt and light” in this world. We desire to live lives characterized by the Christ-centered wholeness described in Mark 12:30-31, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself.”

3. Servant Focused

The phrase “doma nada” means, “dominate nothing.” Our objective is not to control, but to serve. We seek to discover what an organization needs in order to accomplish the vision God has given it, and to assist in addressing those needs. We desire to be intentional, but low profile; strategic, but not bureaucratic; listeners, not lecturers; value-driven, not formula-driven.

4. Relationship Driven

We seek to spend “face-to-face” time with the people and organizations with which we are involved. We desire that all of our professional and personal relationships be based on honesty, transparency, accountability and trust. We seek to build relationships based on partnership, not dependency.
